OREGON CITY — Clackamas County commissioners this week happily accepted the 90-page final report of a nearly three-year community process to map the future of the unincorporated Oak Grove, Jennings Lodge and North Clackamas area.

Please join us at the next McLoughlin Area Plan Committee meeting on December 19th. We will review all of the comments received from the public and the committee on the draft Plan and decide on directions to move forward to complete the final draft. The comments have been organized into three documents for review; Consent (the edit was accepted), No Action required (general comments), and Discussion (requests further discussion from the committee). McLoughlin Area Plan Draft – Public Rollout Event!

Come out and see the result of all the hard work from Phase II. On November 30th we’ll host a Public Rollout Event of the draft Plan that will serve as a guide for improvements and changes in the McLoughlin Area.

At the November 14th meeting the MAP Committee will provide feedback on draft #2 of the McLoughlin Area Plan and consider comments from the Business Focus Group and Technical Advisory Committee. These comments will be incorporated into the next draft (number three) that will be released to the public on November 30th. Join us at the MAP Committee meeting to hear the discussion and add your comments.

Last night’s McLoughlin Area Plan Committee meeting was postponed due to a room scheduling conflict at Rose Villa. Thanks to all of you that showed up ready for a meeting – we hope you can come out again next week! The meeting will be on Monday November 21st, 6:30pm – 9pm at Oak Lodge Water District, 14496 SE River Road.

On Monday October 17th the MAP Committee will review the draft McLoughlin Area Plan, Phase II, following its release this week. Check out the agenda to see how the committee will provide feedback at the meeting to assist in editing the Plan and to get it ready for publication as the “public review draft”.

Planning to craft the McLoughlin Area Strategic Plan – Join us!

After three years of work on the McLoughlin Area Plan we are gearing up to craft the final document! Join the MAP Committee on September 12th, 6:30 pm at Rose Villa to discuss what the final document will look like and what projects and programs it will recommend. Review the agenda to see what is planned.

The Strategic Plan Draft Outline considers what form the draft will take, not the detail to be contained in it. The results of the August workshop, the results of the online poll which followed it and, the results of the ranking votes taken at the MAP Committee’s August 15 meeting, informed the list of highest ranking projects and programs from the complete list of draft projects and programs, available here. The recommendations that came out of the Business Focus Advisory Group, had a good deal of convergence with what the community desires!

The survey results are in!

In one week 173 people responded to the survey to share what projects and programs are important to them! Those results were tallied and compared with the results from the August 3rd public workshop. Participants at the workshop answered similar questions in a living polling exercise. Click here to see what your neighbors prioritize in the community.
