Community Visioning Summit: Saturday, November 21st at Concord Elementary
The MAP Committee will be hosting a range of community outreach events and working to gather information throughout the area over the coming months. Our first major event is coming up on Saturday, November 21. On that day, you and your friends and family who live, work or own property in this area are invited to participate in a Community Visioning Summit at Concord Elementary School located at 3811 SE Concord Road. The purpose of the summit is to discuss the needs of our neighborhoods and communities, and start developing a vision for the future.
The summit will include an open house from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. and a hands-on visioning workshop from 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. At the workshop, people will learn more about the efforts to enhance and revitalize the area, and participate in a series of activities to talk about the future of their community.
